I like to call myself a rebel poet and writer because my writing captures human essentiality in a deep respect for who we are. I also think it is important to talk about God and Faith because we are searching for an answer to the fundamental question of existence itself. I don't think I have solutions, but simply dreams and enthusiasm to tell, hope to communicate; despite my 67 years of age, the youth of my heart still make me feel like a child capable of getting excited and poking around inside my heart. I have been writing poems and stories since I was 14 years old, and I live in a magical, enchanted city called Florence.
This book is about the existence and hypothetical journey of a fourth of the Magi who is very much like us. He is a dishonest person, without morals, who once he meets an angel who reveals to him that he has been chosen to bring a gift to the child Jesus. The journey changes his life; he feels valued and accepted for what he is. This trust drives him to be faithful to his promise to reach the Child Jesus, changes his life, transforms him into what he is but was not capable of being. He will spend his life imprisoned from one prison to another, always innocent, always determined to reach the child, and he will reach him when...
First of all, the narrative style, the content of the story, the fact that it looks at religion, and the passion of Jesus from a different point of view than we have always observed are the components that make my book unique.. Second, the book aims to target young people, believers, those looking for a meaning to their existence.
The inspirer of this book was my daughter, who asked me to write a different story about what was happening one evening on Christmas Eve. We were observing the three Magi placed in the nativity scene. I wanted to think of a fourth king of the magi who embarked on a journey in search of himself, a journey in which this new King felt himself a slave to himself, to the limits of the existence of his own body and set off in search of freedom. He confessed that we all feel a little like prisoners. Going in search of the Child Jesus to meet him, the book was born. It took me two years to write it; it was not easy to invent a path of this kind.
Through reading my book, I hope that my readers will strengthen their faith, find hope, and the courage to go on despite the difficulties of life. Understand that we are not alone if we have a purpose, a goal to achieve in our existence, a goal that does not depend on how good we are at succeeding but on how determined we are in our faith in God. This is the kind of faith that we are not willing to abandon or forget, a belief that finally makes us deeply free.. My vision for this book is that it can be for someone, a small light that shines in the night, a light that gives us the courage and tells us that we are not alone.
I am writing a poem about a great prophet of the Bible, Jeremiah, a Jeremiah who visits our world to announce Salvation once again to men and women who have allowed themselves to be overcome by fear, discouragement, and despondency. I hope it will soon be published. Do you want to hope? Are you looking for a bit of light in your life? Are you tired of reading sappy love stories, stories full of eroticism and violence? Read my book "He, the King," a book in which you are the protagonist of an adventure of love and courage with a touch of madness.A book that opens the heart to what is most authentic in each of us, hope! Watch it go live on Amazon this February 19, 2022. The book launch will air on GMGA Publishing Facebook Page on that day. To know more about this event, I am inviting you to follow me on Facebook.
