Maria's co-authored book Me and Them and Pages in the World reached the Amazon bestseller status a few hours after its virtual book launch with GMGA Book Publishing. According to her, this poetry collection describes the complexity of the feeling and all its nuances, including the aspirations and weaknesses of the human soul, the joys, the renunciations, the achievements and failures. Furthermore, the book showcases different phases of feeling, delusions, the pain of absence, ecstasy and exaltation; it encapsulates the love between a man and a woman, or the love for nature, for the parent, love that becomes universal, desire; and erotic love.
The Italian version of this book entitled Io e Loro is set to launch this April 20, 2022 and will stream live on GMGA Publishing Facebook Page at 3:30 PM, Italy time.
"I work, I am a chemist, and I write for passion, and therefore I think that I will continue to write and publish more books of poetry or even short stories." Maria expressed.
Poetry means many things for different people. Maria upholds poetry to the highest esteem:
Poetry is the inspiration of the fleeting moment. The poem tells about life, love, loneliness, pain, joy, in an immediate, direct way, without too many turns of words. Poetry is pure emotion that is expressed and transmitted. It is what goes beyond convention and speaks to the heart. It attracts the mind, it dissects the most remote parts of the soul and manifests them. Poetry is ardor, the courage to show one's self without shame. Poetry is a life story. Poetry is timeless and timeless. Poetry is what everyone can understand.
